Chand returns to Fiza, apologises
In yet another twist to Chand-Fiza saga, former Haryana deputy chief minister Chand Mohammand returned to his estranged second wife and apologised for "past mistakes", months after declaring publicly that he had divorced her, but Fiza remained non-committal on a "reunion".
Talking to reporters in the company of Fiza he said he had pronounced 'Talaq' only twice and not thrice. Fiza, however, said she would take a decision only after consulting her mother and family members.
"After consulting my mother and family members I will take my decision," she said adding Chand today arrived at her residence and apologised.
"From yesterday, he was calling me on mobile phone while I was avoiding his calls. Chandermohan arrived at my residence and had a word with my mother first."
"I had a detailed discussion with him and he apologised for whatever happened in the past," claimed Fiza.
